{"id":1158,"date":"2020-11-03T16:00:39","date_gmt":"2020-11-03T16:00:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/benefits.startribunecompany.com\/?p=1158"},"modified":"2020-11-03T22:11:25","modified_gmt":"2020-11-03T22:11:25","slug":"welcome-to-2021-open-enrollment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/benefits.startribunecompany.com\/index.php\/2020\/11\/03\/welcome-to-2021-open-enrollment\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome to 2021 Open Enrollment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Open Enrollment starts Wednesday, November 4 and ends at 5 p.m.,&nbsp; Wednesday, November 18,&nbsp; 2020.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>You will need to make your benefit selections in the Star Tribune UltiPro system by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18th.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>You should review your benefit selections, even if no changes are desired.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To access Open Enrollment, go through UltiPro or go to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/n23.ultipro.com\/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2f\"><strong>myinfo.startribune.com<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;to access&nbsp;UltiPro outside Star Tribune.<\/p>\n<p>Once you are logged in to Ultipro click on&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Myself &gt; Open Enrollment&nbsp;<\/strong>to enroll.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important Reminders:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must make the desired 2021 Flexible Spending Account (FSA) elections in the Open Enrollment system for 2021. They will not carry over from the prior year.<\/li>\n<li>You can carry over up to $550&nbsp; in unused health care FSA funds into the next year.<\/li>\n<li>You must have completed the 2021 Star Tribune Wellness Program requirements by September 30, 2020, to receive preferred benefits in 2021. If you are covering your spouse in the medical plans, she\/he also must have completed the requirements to earn the preferred benefits.&nbsp; Dependent children do not need to participate.<\/li>\n<li>Verify your home address is correct in UltiPro. Your medical ID card and other important benefits information will be mailed to your home address on file.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We encourage you to learn more about your 2021 benefit choices by reviewing <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/benefits.startribunecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2021-Star-Tribune-Enrollment-Guide_71723-FINAL.pdf\">2021 Benefits Enrollment Guide<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brainshark.com\/lockton\/vu?pi=zItzjpjVLzZuBfz0\">informational video<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>While you are in UltiPro please make sure that we have your most current information. Is your email address uploaded and correct?<\/p>\n<p><strong>NEW Voluntary Benefits in 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are adding two new voluntary benefits for 2021. Voluntary benefits offer you additional choices to round out your benefits package while taking advantage of group rates.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Vision<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 We are offering vision coverage for you and your family through EyeMed. EyeMed\u2019s vision care benefits include coverage for eye exams, lenses and frames, and contact lenses. You pay 100% of the cost for vision coverage through pre-tax payroll deductions. Eligibility for vision coverage will be the same as eligibility for dental coverage.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/benefits.startribunecompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Vision-Plan-Summary.pdf\">Vision Plan Summary<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Pet Care Insurance<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 We are partnering with Companion Protect to provide a coverage option for our furry family members. Contact Companion Protect at any time in 2021 to set up coverage for your dog or cat.
